calendar-icon 2024/04/16

There is no specific criteria, but generally, for a short-term stay guarantor, an annual income of 3 million yen or more and savings of 1 million yen or more are required.

However, if the criteria are not met, it does not mean that one cannot become a guarantor.

Some people may not have a steady income but have savings, while others may have a steady income but no savings. Here are some approximate criteria:

(1) Guarantor with "income" and "savings"

If the guarantor has "income" and "savings", an annual income of 3 million yen or more and savings of 1 million yen or more are recommended.

(2) Guarantor with "income" but "no savings"

If the guarantor has "income" but "no savings", an annual income of 3.5 million yen or more is recommended.

(3) Guarantor with "no income" but "savings"

If the guarantor has "no income" but "savings", savings of 2 million yen or more are recommended.

(4) Guarantor with "no income" and "no savings"

If the person who is supposed to be the guarantor has no income or savings, they cannot become a guarantor.
