Past Application Information' in the List of Submitted Documents
In the application for a Specified Skilled Worker visa, the "List of Required Documents" is one of the mandatory documents to be submitted.
For documents marked with "△ (Note 2)" in the "Requirement" column, if they have been submitted in a past application, you can omit them by providing the past application date and application number.
An example of such a document that can be omitted if submitted in a past application is the Certificate of All Historical Matters.
One important point to note is the time period.
(Note 3) Submitted in a past residence-related application for any foreign national being accepted
(Note 4) Submitted in a residence-related application for any foreign national being accepted within the past year
(Note 5) Submitted in a residence-related application for any foreign national being accepted within the past two years
(Note 6) Submitted in a residence-related application for any foreign national being accepted within the past three years
As shown, it is important to be aware of the different time periods for which documents can be omitted, depending on when they were submitted in the past.
Another point to be cautious about is if the documents were also omitted in a past application based on previous submission records.
(Example)
February 2020: All documents submitted in an application
February 2021: Documents such as (Note 5: Tax Office-issued Tax Payment Certificate (No. 3)) omitted in an application → OK
February 2022: Documents such as (Note 5: Tax Office-issued Tax Payment Certificate (No. 3)) omitted in an application → OK
August 2022: Documents such as (Note 5: Tax Office-issued Tax Payment Certificate (No. 3)) omitted in an application → NG
In this way, for an application in August 2023, even if the application date and number from February 2022 are provided, the actual documents were submitted more than two years ago, so the documents will need to be submitted again.
While it is convenient to actively utilize the omission of documents, it is crucial to keep track of how far back the documents have not been submitted. Otherwise, you may end up having to submit additional documents, which could prolong the review period.
When applying through RAKUVISA, all past application data, including attached documents, are stored in the cloud, so you can quickly check if you forget.
