The Immigration Services Agency announced two points on February 29, 2024:

(1) The agency will revise the criteria for changing the residence status of graduates from vocational schools to the "Technical and Humanities Knowledge" category, allowing for more flexible assessment of the relevance between their major subjects and intended work.

(2) Graduates from junior colleges will be added to the list of eligible individuals for the "Specific Activities (Notification No. 46)" category.

Previously, graduates from vocational schools were limited to working in the same field they studied. However, with these changes, they will have the potential to pursue a wider range of job opportunities.
